This is a multi-forming machine that bends, rounds, or crushes coiled and fixed-length metallic materials and the like.
With Advanex
Advanex has made in-house cuts and chamfers of standard-length materials used for wire forming. In addition, constant length cutting and forming can be processed on an integrated line. For a wide variety of wire diameters from φ0.1 to φ3.0, we propose NC multi-forming and forming machines depending on the dimensional accuracy of the machining method. In addition, our in-house production of dies and accumulated know-how enable us to respond immediately to customer needs.
Products conforming to the rating of the Japan Architectural Centre (BCJh rating-LS0107-1).
It can be easily installed using a commercially available socket wrench. It is also cleared for studies using an impact-type vibrating tester that conforms to NAS3350 standards. Sizes range from M4 to M24.
With Advanex
Excellent anti-loosening effect
Tests using an impact-type vibrating tester that complies with NAS3350 standards have also been cleared, so you can use the tester with confidence and reduce maintenance and inspection tasks.
Reduced assembly costs
A 12mm sq. socket can be used with the nut, so you have to do it once. In addition, it can be mounted smoothly by the spring structure.
Compatible with all environments
Since SUS304WPB is used as the material, it will work in environments where there is a risk of erosion or where temperatures are severe.
Springs can be made by drawing, bending, rolling, or crushing a metal material of a certain width with a multi-forming machine, or a shaped part thereof. Cutting and multiple bending can be done in a single process.
With Advanex
Since the product is produced by slitting materials sliced to the width of the product, scrap can be reduced, which makes the process environmentally friendly and less costly. Barrierless processing is possible by using profile materials such as deburred edge and semi-round. Composite parts processing (i.e., caulking, joining) is also possible. In addition, the number of man-hours can be reduced by combining the production of the press machine with the forming. Since dies are manufactured in-house, we are able to respond immediately and with our accumulated know-how to customer needs.
Since the material can be slit and produced within the product’s width, this method reduces both waste and costs. Although dies are required, it is possible to stably produce products in large quantities. It can also handle matching-less machining (which is difficult to cope with in press working), and machining using rounded edge materials and misleading materials, making it ideal for exterior parts, etc. The curling process, which is a specialty of multi-forming machines, allows VA/VE of cutting products by curling the plate material. Advanex owns an overwhelming number of multi-forming machines, including machines manufactured in-house. Proprietary know-how, such as tool holder and double slide method, increases machining accuracy. Wire-forming and rod-forming are also produced, and fixed-length materials are manufactured in-house. In addition, we also possess our own packaging and transportation methods to prevent accidents. In addition to hydrocarbon-based cleaning, alkaline cleaning (water-based) is also possible.
Processing of phosphor bronze products

Slides are attached to radially prepared face platens, and the tool is moved by the timing of the cam to make a shape. A core metal or a slide holder that approaches it is prepared in the center part called the mandrel, and precise machining is performed to maintain accuracy. The punch part is also synchronized, and unnecessary parts are removed.
Wire forming

This is an example of wire forming. When processing R, spring-back can be suppressed by dividing it in this way. Similar machining can be performed with the NC multi-forming machine, if selected according to the product accuracy required by the customer. If this is suppressed with a mold, it can be finished to an extremely uniform product with little variation.
Advanex possesses a wide variety of equipment groups, ranging from general presses to high-speed precision presses and forging presses, with a maximum capacity of 250 tons. While dies are manufactured in-house and accumulated know-how is extensive, a system is in place so that can respond immediately to the needs of customers. Complex machining such as automatic caulking in a die is also possible by providing a slide mechanism inside the die. We also produce reel products, and we guarantee 100% of conductors, scratches, etc. by means of image inspection equipment. We possess expertise not only in processing, but also in delivery modes and transportation methods. We can also design inexpensive dies to match the life of our products. We have built an integrated production line from material supply to stamping, reel winding, and inspection to accommodate even more difficult products.
High-speed precision press

Materials are supplied from the turntable and product shapes are machined with the dies.
Although this product is reel-wound, we check and guarantee against all damage, stains, etc. by means of an image inspection device installed after processing. If there is any abnormality, image data are recorded, the machine stops, and the operator is informed with a buzzer and light. Automatic winding of up to 6 reels is also possible for reel winding, enabling unmanned machining.
Large servo press

This is an example of a large servo press, and Advanex’s holds up to 250 tons.
Since the servo press can precisely control the speed and the applied pressure at bottom dead center, it is also effective for complicated shapes, drawing, and other forging processes. Side-cutting using a slide mechanism, caulking, and other designs that utilize the size of the stage are also possible, enabling us to meet the needs of a wide variety of customers.
Advanex is the manufacturer of precision metal processing, including springs. We manufacture not only Springs, but also metal products with various shapes and functions.

3. What is the origin of Advanex?
We have called it “ADVANEX” by multiplying “ADVANCE” and “NEXT” (moving forward and developing) with the conviction that we will move forward without being satisfied with the current situation. (The company name up to 2001 was Kato Spring Works Co., Ltd.)
4. What is Advanex’s position in the spring industry?
There are hundreds of spring manufacturers in Japan, of which five are major manufacturers. Advanex is one of the five largest companies, specializing in the precision field and expanding overseas.
Transfer processing is a machining method by which molds in which each process is independent, are lined up in a row in a single press machine, driven from a crankshaft, and continuously machined while being transferred by a transfer mechanism synchronized with the press body.
Here, we will introduce each process, one at a time to see which process is being used. Currently, products that are being cut and pipe-machined can also be reduced in cost or improved in accuracy by switching to transfer machining, so please consult with us.
