This kit is ideal for using a small amount of “tangless insert” that is ideal for repairing female threads and for trial use. Because the structure is the same as the conventional automatic insertion tool, it can be used without any discomfort even if it is later shifted to the automatic insertion tool.

TANGLESS® INSERTS

Features

Tangless inserts are made by processing diamond-shaped materials into coils. When inserted for reinforcement of female threads, it is fixed to the base metal by spring-back action. By inserting and using soft metals, cast iron, resin, and other materials with weak internal threads, a reliable and strong screw fastening force can be obtained.

With Advanex

The use of dedicated tools enables insertion and extraction without tang insertion. There is no damage to female screws or inserts when pulling out. Insertions can be from either front or back without directionality. The insertion tang is not required to be folded, folded, and gauge checked after insertion. This greatly reduces the work time.

Advanex can machine these from a wire diameter of φ0.015. All coiling machines are equipped with a free-length detector and are guaranteed to have full load characteristics. Even in the case of high-mix, low-volume production, mixing and delivery delays do not occur due to our own process control. The hook shape of the tension spring can be adapted to any shape. Depending on the application, we also have a wide range of know-how in post-treatment, including heat treatment, setting, and surface treatment, so we will propose them to meet your needs. We possess a wide variety of facilities and overwhelming numbers of units, including mechanics and NC coiling machines, and we have built an integrated production line covering everything from material supply to coiling, heat treatment, inspection, and packaging, so we can handle even highly complex tests.

In compression springs, the load is very important, but Adspring guarantees the total length by checking the free length using a sensor. Advanex can use a material with a diameter of φ0.015, and its tools are designed in-house. In this way, the free length of small springs is captured by laser sensors to guarantee the whole number of springs. Other facilities use image sensors, and we guarantee the entire number of images in the same way in conjunction with the automatic correction system. If there is any abnormality during machining, the separator pulls the abnormal product and production continues, enabling full unmanned operation at nighttime/Saturdays/holidays.

Typical tension springs are made with a specialized machine, but sizes exceeding deformed shapes and capabilities are processed with an NC multi-forming machine. In the case of tension springs, the angle at which the hook faces is also important. In addition to inserting and controlling the touch sensor during machining, the free length is checked with a laser sensor. All necessary parts are always equipped with sensors to assure that customers can use the product with confidence.

Insert molding, integrates plastic and metal parts. This technology and construction method combines precision press working, wire springs, and injection molding, Advanex’s core technology. Advanex possesses a wide variety of equipment groups, including automatic line 2 patterns and manual lines, enabling a wide range of insert molding, including hoop molding, vertical rotary molding, and horizontal + robot.

In particular, the Automated Hoop Production Line, a unified production line that combines multiple presses and molding machines, is aimed at achieving high production efficiency and unmanned operation right up to packaging.

In addition, we design and manufacture everything from press dies to injection molding dies and automated machines in-house, so we can propose the best product design at the request of our customers, such as reduction of assembly man-hours, miniaturization, thinning, and heightening precision.

The automatic hoop production line is a unified production line that combines multiple press machines and injection molding machines, enabling high-efficiency production. The joint production of press and forming is carried out according to the number of dimples (dents). Processing of SUS-made materials other than SPCC is available. In addition, we suggest VE and VA proposals for cutting products by changing construction methods, as well as dimple shapes for pull-out strength. Since dies are manufactured in-house, we are able to respond immediately and with our and accumulate know-how to customer needs.

NC Multi-Forming

NC Multi-Forming

NC multi-forming is capable of numerically controlling the position and timing of all tools by means of a servo motor. Fine-tuning bending and winding angles is easy, so it is possible to make samples with modified characteristics quickly, allowing customers to immediately check the optimum shape.
Settings can also be changed simply by replacing the tool at the slide end or the spinner. By making full use of touch and image sensors, we can guarantee 100% of critical characteristics. Advanex owns an overwhelming number of NC multi-forming machines. Similar facilities are installed at the prototype center, mass-production plants, and overseas plants, so transfers can be done smoothly.

NC multi-forming machines process products by moving wire guides, slides, spinners, etc. via programming. High-precision servo motors provide peak performance in position control and suppresses product variations. This type of machine can be machined by securing the slide and rotating the wire to its tool position. This eliminates the need for slide replacement, resulting in a shorter set-up time. Once machining is complete, the product is retrieved with a pick up.

The NC multi-forming machine adjusts the setup and product dimensions by changing the programming. Material sent from the back of the machine is fed from a wire guide into which various tools attached to the slide are fed. Body coils are processed and hooking and bending are carried out according to the program. Since the opposite angle of the hook is important for the pull spring, the wind angle is controlled by the touch sensor.
